The Meat House is rapidly expanding through area development agreements that require our franchise partners to open a minimum number of locations per market, typically 10 - 15 stores. 

To maintain an unparalleled level of hospitality for every customer at every Meat House, our franchise partners must demonstrate The Meat House 3 C’s of Brand Integrity:  Character, Capability and Commitment.  

Character:  To truly be ‘your neighborhood butcher’, our partners must have the utmost integrity, be locally-focused and embrace giving back to the communities in which they operate.  This is the cornerstone of our brand.

Capability:  Our partners must have a proven track record as excellent multi-unit operators or, as capital partners and investment groups, understand the importance of hiring experienced operational leadership to successfully drive their business.  The Meat House executive management team has significant background in the casual dining and franchise industry; as such, we are uniquely suited to support the placement of operational leaders within our investors’ management teams.

Commitment:  Our partners must be completely committed to The Meat House’s operating philosophy of being “consistent, excellent and customer focused in everything we do”.  It is simply what we do.

This is a unique opportunity for qualified partners to join us on the ground floor of a largely untapped segment of the $70+ billion retail meat market. 

Qualification Criteria

To become a brand partner, individuals or partnerships must meet these criteria to gain consideration for a Meat House area development:

  • Proven experience as a multi-unit operator
  • Net worth of $2 million and liquidity of $1 million
  • Infrastructure and resources to handle a typical development agreement 
  • Knowledge of real estate and trade areas in development territory
  • Operating partner must live in the territory under development
  • Ability to obtain a liquor license, when allowed by law
  • Must have enthusiasm, drive, and passion for the food service industry
  • Total commitment to developing and protecting The Meat House brand
  • Cultural fit and a passion for excellence


Basic Fees and Costs

  • Franchise Fee: $50,000 per store, of which we re-invest 60-80% back in your training
  • 4% Royalty and 3.25% marketing fee
  • $498,800 - $705,300 +/- to open 3500 square foot location - including franchise fees
